From the moment I wake up until the time I return home, the process of accessing doors involves great quantity of interactions among my hands and cards with multiple access devices.
The installation is based on the idea of collecting an action that has become unperceived due to the reduced attention that people have on the device in respect to the following activity they are intending to carry out. In addition to this, the distance between these access devices in the space adds to the complexity of reading them and understanding the significance that this repetitive behavior has.
In the displaying of the access devices, I have the intention to bring self-awareness to an audience that relates to the habit of codes, cards and switches, but at the same time the objects seem to be unperceived, since they have been internalized by the everyday routine.
